Both our Regd. Office and factory is at Thane - Mumbai (India) and has been developed to address the fast growing field of surgical technology. Our factory is well equipped with comprehensive equipments, modified & improvised latest version of CNC machines. Our motto is "TO PROVIDE SERVICE WITH QUALITY". Professionals who have both Technical & Marketing experience in the Orthopaedic field manage the factory and office. Along with manufacturing the existing products, we are launching new products each year.

We are in this field since last 15 years enjoying a goodwill and excellent market recognition as one of the leading manufacturer in the field of ORTHOPAEDIC IMPLANTS AND INSTRUMENTS AND PIONEER IN THE INTERLOCKING NAIL SYSTEM. `YI' is the first manufacturer to come out with the I. L. Nail System in India in the year 1993.

The first step of stone was put in the year 1986 with only some of the basic Implants & Instruments & since then `YI' is engaged in manufacturing and launching new products. Our improved design of INTRAMEDULLARY NAIL SYSTEM is the result of our real experience in the surgical field & is an IMPORT SUBSTITUTE, which came into existence in 1993-1994. Till date we have successfully launched:

'YI' has come out with all the Comprehensive Instrumentation set which is Universal and the benefit is that only few additional attachments are required to do Humerus, Recon, Supracondylar cases to our already existing set for Tibia / Femur. Our recent developments are :

OUR IMPLANTS & RAW MATERIAL USED TO MANUFACTURE

Considering the qualities of an ideal implant and cost effective manufacturing techniques our I.L. Nails & other Implants are made of Stainless Steel which complies with the International ISO - STANDARD & relevant NATIONAL SPECIFICATION. The Raw Material used is imported AISI 316L for our I.L.Nails which is recommended by the "IMPLANTS COMMITTEE OF I.O.A".

RECOMMENDATION OF " IMPLANTS COMMITTEE - I.O.A"

'YI' is also executing the recommendation of "IMPLANTS COMMITTEE OF I.O.A".

  • 'YI' LOGO of our Co. is marked along with the size & types of Implants wherever possible.
  • `YI' is using IMPORTED AISI 316L materials and as a proof it is marked on the Implants as `IMPORTED AISI' 316L wherever possible.
  • 'YI' has taken one leap ahead in the Implants Industry by doing LAZOR MARKING.
  • The head of the Bone Screws contains an abbreviated symbol of our Co. As YOG along with the LENGTH OF THE SCREW for easy identification.
  • Indications like Sterile/ Unsterile and whether for single use are also made by `YI' in the form of labels.
  • Precautions & Care for Instruments Sticker label is also attached on the sealed packets.

As an Indian manufacturer we are also striving hard to attain a good standard for the Indian Implants. This is how we make our Implants Traceable.
