SELF CUTTING LOCKING BOLT FOR INTRAMEDULLARY NAILS

`YI' has introduced Self Cutting Locking Bolts for Tibia, Femur & Humerus Intramedullary Locking Nails.


DESCRIPTION

Due to the absence of a conventional thread and the presence of a self-cutting tip, the Locking Bolts can be applied without tapping a thread. The special low-profile thread brings about stable anchorage of the bolt in the nail.

The new low-profile screw head permits application even in instances of minimal soft-tissue cover.

To engage the opposite cortex securely, the Locking Bolt, due to its trocar tip must be selected 2mm longer than measured.

  Locking Screws are fully threaded & self tapping, minimizing screw back out. The YOGESHWAR RECONSTRUCTION NAIL provides the surgeon with a stronger screw design which acts to maximize the life of the Implant. The double helix thread design speeds the insertion of the screws. In addition, the more distal location of the screw holes act to capture distal fragments & afford the surgeon a wider variety of applications
